Meet Dr. Sharmin Islam
We are proud to introduce Dr Sharmin who joined our provider team in 2024!
Dr. Sharmin Islam grew up in Lansdale, PA, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Drexel University and her DMD from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. With over five years of experience, Dr. Sharmin is dedicated to building long-term relationships with her patients and providing high-quality dental care. She is proud to serve the community and looks forward to welcoming you to Kearns Family Dentistry.
Meet Amanda
Amanda is a dedicated dental hygienist with over 22 years of experience. Recognized as a top clinician at Northampton Community College, she is passionate about educating patients and helping them achieve confident, lasting smiles through preventive care and personalized guidance. She is licensed in local anesthesia and certified in laser therapy. Outside the office, she enjoys riding and showing horses, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
Meet Tippi
With over 40 years of dental hygiene experience, Tippi brings a passion for oral health inspired by her own childhood orthodontic care. A Northampton Community College graduate, she is dedicated to patient education and prevention. Known for her gentle touch and meticulous care, she helps patients achieve clean, healthy smiles. Outside the office, Tippi enjoys time with her family and visiting her vacation home.
Meet Alexandra
Alexandra is a dedicated dental hygienist and recipient of the Golden Scaler Award. Known for her gentle, thorough approach and strong teamwork, she is passionate about educating patients on their dental health. Outside of the office, Alexandra enjoys being a present and devoted mom to her 3- and 1-year-old daughters and an active member of her church.
Meet Karyn
Karyn began her dental career at Allentown Business School and later completed the EFDA program at Harrisburg Community College. Known for her ability to connect with patients, she enjoys being part of a team that transforms smiles. Outside the office, Karyn loves skiing, fishing, and spending time with her family at the beach.
Meet Kylie
Kylie has been a dedicated dental assistant since 2016. Originally from California, she recently relocated to Pennsylvania and is excited to serve her new community. Kylie is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for every patient, helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease throughout their visit. She believes that compassion, kindness, and a welcoming smile can make all the difference in a patient’s dental experience. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring her new surroundings and making the most of her new home.
Meet Suzanne
With 30 years of experience, Suzanne brings extensive expertise to her role as our financial coordinator. A graduate of the Fairfield Dental Institute with additional training in radiology, CPR, and occupational health and safety, she is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable and informed. Her warm personality and commitment to service make her an invaluable part of the Kearns Family Dental team.
Meet Anna
Anna is the scheduling coordinator at Kearns Family Dentistry and plays an essential role in ensuring every visit runs smoothly and comfortably. A graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, she holds a degree as a Healthcare Office Coordinator along with a medical billing specialist certification. Patients can work with Anna from start to finish to ensure a positive, seamless experience.
Meet Aaliyah
Aaliyah has been in the dental field since 2021 and loves chatting with patients and making them feel comfortable. She’s dedicated to ensuring every visit is a smooth and positive experience from start to finish. When she’s not at the office, Aaliyah is busy being a supermom to her energetic 3-year-old daughter — keeping up with her is a full-time adventure of its own!
Meet Delaney
After beginning her dental career as a dental assistant in 2019, she earned her Registered Dental Hygienist degree from Northampton Community College. She is dedicated to educating patients about their oral health and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and relaxing with her dog, Scotch.

Therese graduated from Northampton Community College in 2024 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Guided by her faith and personal experiences, she is committed to continually growing both professionally and personally. She loves connecting with patients and believes that every interaction matters, knowing that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting impact. Outside the office, Therese enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
